Straighten your teeth discreetly with custom clear aligner trays — no brackets, no wires, and no interruptions to your lifestyle.
Clear aligners are a popular alternative to traditional braces that use a series of custom-made, removable plastic trays to gradually move your teeth into alignment. Because they're nearly invisible and can be taken out to eat, drink, and brush, they fit seamlessly into everyday life — making them especially popular with adults and teens.
At Bodine Orthodontics, we use advanced digital scanning to map your teeth precisely and create a custom treatment plan unique to your smile. You'll wear each set of trays for about one to two weeks before moving on to the next in the series, with each tray gently progressing your teeth toward their final position.
We use a precise digital scanner to capture a 3D model of your teeth — no messy impressions needed. Using this scan, Dr. Bodine maps out a custom treatment plan that shows you the projected movement of your teeth from start to finish.
Your custom trays are fabricated and sent to our office. We'll have you in for a fitting appointment to make sure everything feels right and to walk you through how to insert, remove, and care for your aligners.
For best results, aligners should be worn 20–22 hours per day. You'll switch to a new set of trays every 1–2 weeks. Each tray is slightly different, moving your teeth incrementally toward their target positions.
You'll visit us periodically — typically every 8–10 weeks — so Dr. Bodine can monitor your progress and make any adjustments to your plan if needed. These appointments are quick and straightforward.
Once you've worked through all your trays, we'll confirm your final result and fit you for retainers to maintain your new smile long-term.
